Jakub Nowak for a monograph entitled „Polityki sieciowej popkultury” [The Policies of Network Pop Culture] (Lublin: Wydawnictwo UMCS, 2017). The book presents the status of new media as a space for pop culture. The study addresses visibility of online content as well as new patterns of political and civic activity in line with the so-called digital intermediaries. | |

Christian S. Nissen, international media expert and the former Director General of Danmarks Radio (DR) for longstanding achievements in promoting democratic standards in the media. The Executive awarded long-term activities at the international level (Council of Europe, European Broadcasting Union) and Christian Nissen’s latest publication, entitled „Media Freedom Revisited. The Widening Gap Between Ideals and Reality” (chapter in a collective work edited by U. Carlsson „Freedom of Expression and Media in Transition”, Goteborg: Nordicom Publishing House, 2016). | |
