Scientific conference "Knowledge - Communication - Action. In the Process of Changes", Kraków, October 15-16, 2020

On October 15-16, 2020, the Institute of Journalism, Media and Social Communication of the Jagiellonian University organized the third conference of the "Knowledge - Communication - Action" series. Like the previous ones, it was held under the patronage of the The Polish Communication Association (PCA). One of the main partners of the event was the Institute of Information Studies of the Jagiellonian University, which brought the perspective of information scientists to the academic debate. An important goal of the conference organizers was to integrate the community of researchers representing the newly defined discipline of social communication and media studies. The changes were the theme of this year’s conference. Due to the extraordinary situation related to the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus pandemic, the conference was online. Over 80 people representing 19 research centres took part in this unique - due to its form - event. 65 speakers participated in 14 discussion panels.

The organizing committee is already inviting you to the next conference of the series "Knowledge - communication - action" (October 21-22, 2021), which the leading topic this time will be "New communication revolution".
